ALEXIA FENCHEL studied Fine Arts at the Bauhaus University Weimar and the Athens School of Fine Arts, focusing on textiles and drawing. Her work explores, among other things, the structures of the working class and the aesthetics of various construction sites. Through her drawings, she observes her surroundings in both serious and playful ways, questioning the unspoken rules that shape everyday behavior.

Currently, she is developing a fictional character through drawing—one that seeks self-discovery within Roman Catholic structures through sexual and erotic practices.

Alongside her artistic practice, Alexia has worked at the National Theatre of Greece in Athens, as a wardrobe assistant for Soko Leipzig, as an intern at a small electrical engineering company, and as a costume assistant for In aller Freundschaft.
